DISC Profile Assessments

DISC Profiling PRO is the original DISC profile assessment program.
While technical and tactical skills are critical in achieving results, studies show that team communication, relationships in the workplace and executive and professional leaders function at greater levels of productivity when having a greater understanding of strengths and opportunities within the team.

DISC Profile PRO is a universal behavioral profiling system that identifies natural communication, leadership and work styles.  One of the top competencies for success in a business, firm, large corporation or Fortune 100 company is self-awareness.  Knowing your value to an organization and to the team is critical.

For many individuals, when asked, “what are your greatest career accomplishments?” the response is, “I don’t know!”  When asked, “what differentiates you and your communication from others?” the most common response is, “wait…hold on…ah, give me a minute…[sigh] I don’t know”  or  “I’m a people leader.”  This leads to a yawn.  All leaders need to be people leaders as the primary ticket of admission.

DISC helps individuals of all levels, career paths and levels of education.  Executives, professionals, college students, and trade professionals determine have benefited from DISC Profiling Pro.  Many individuals find themselves burned out and tired. They do not know why they have lost the passion for their chosen career.  Upon taking DISC Profiling Pro, they come to the realization that they may have chosen the wrong profession after years of putting in long hours, time, and effort.  For other individuals, perhaps they have been in a suitable profession, yet they are looking for a change.  DISC Profiling Pro helps take the anonymity out of the equation.  DISC Profiling Pro helps you DISC-over your next step in your career.

DISC Profiling Pro helps individuals of all levels have a deeper understanding as to the WHY.  For example:
  • WHY does it appear that Joe takes a long time in making a decision
  • WHY does Mary always seem to be asking everyone how they are feeling?
  • WHY does Jonathan appear demanding and strongly directive?
  • Why does Dee always seem to have such great new ideas?
DISC Profiling Pro helps get to the bottom of these questions. All styles are appropriate and can work extremely well when understood.

Halloween Using Your DISC-Eyes!

Halloween is going to be here soon. It’s time to carve your pumpkins and pick out your costume. Kings and princesses, movie monsters and pop-stars, comic book characters and astronauts will be in your neighborhood to do tricks or be treated.

Let’s take a fun look at a family through your DISC-eyes.
High D

David is a high D. His goal for this year is to get twice as much candy as he collected last year. To meet this goal, he asked his dad to take him to another neighborhood, where there are more houses and more families with children. He determined by going to this other neighborhood, that it would be more likely that he would get more treats. He also delegated the carrying of a spare sack to his younger sister, Samantha, just in case he fills up his first candy bag. David’s costume choice: Darth Vader.
High I Irene, David’s mom, is a high I and she’s excited because she is going to go to a costume party the night before Halloween where many of her friends will be. She is in the costume shop now having trouble deciding what to wear. She is chatting with every employee in the store and with most of the other customers as she asks their opinions of what they like best and which costume they think most other people will like. She knows she doesn’t want a big heavy mask because she wants to easily see everyone at the party and she’s afraid that if she wore a full mask, nobody will recognize her, so she decided on the attention-getting Marie Antoinette outfit with a little handheld mask on a stick.
High S

Next, we have Samantha, the high S sibling of David. She is nervous about going with David and her dad to the other neighborhood because she’s much more comfortable sticking to the neighbors they’ve always visited for treats in the past. In the end she agreed to go with David’s plan because they go together every year and she didn’t want to split up their team.  Although she’d sometimes like to be the one who gets to push the doorbell, she knows David always does it and she doesn’t like to make a fuss about it. Samantha was going to dress up as Lisa Simpson like she did last year, but the costume didn’t fit anymore so this year she’s going as Snow White.
High CCharlie is David’s and Samantha’s dad. He’s the high C in the family and not a big fan of Halloween. He gets grouchy thinking about all the unruly kids running across his well-manicured lawn and the inevitable toilet paper that will be thrown across his carefully trimmed hedges. He has a rigid timetable for taking the kids trick or treating and he has a very precise two-step system for inspecting all the candy to be sure it’s safe.  He’s dreading going to the party Friday with his wife and all those people who will be playing games and laughing at silly jokes. If he goes, he knows the babysitter will probably ignore his instructions regarding what time the children are supposed to be in bed and that she will let them watch unauthorized TV shows. Since Irene is going as Marie Antoinette, Charlie thought it would be only right to go as Louis the Sixteenth, but none of the costumes at the shop were authentic enough according to his research, so he is going instead, as Cardinal Richelieu.
When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, may luck be yours on Halloween.
Bats all folks!
