As a career coach, resume writer, hr aficionado, and entrepreneur working with people becomes crystal clear in terms of guiding others to achieve their goals. When it comes to taking your own career advice, the reflection in the mirror becomes 9X magnified.
Today’s blog is short, sweet, and focused. Much like the advice I offer to my clients, the same holds true for me.
Be real, and don’t be afraid. Courage and intent combined are powerful when led with authenticity and humility.
Top Career Tips:
1) Know yourself, the good and the bad.
2) Be genuine.
3) Talk with a purpose, not to hear yourself.
4) Listen and respond with both sides of your brain; pragmatic and innovative.
5) Exude your passion through your eyes, body language, and subtle expressions.
6) Stay in the moment but be prepared to glimpse into the rearview mirror.
7) Look forward with wonder and what if’s.
8) Embrace what you do not know.
9) Listen to your gut.
10) Be real.
Today, whatever your focus on your career, whatever your situation, be the best you can. THAT is the one thing nobody else can be…and that is you.
My advice to you is the same as I offer to me. Now let’s get moving!
